ArtTech Foundation: Bridging Art and Technology

Founded in 2017 by Prof. Patrick Aebischer, President Emeritus of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), the ArtTech Foundation addresses critical questions at the intersection of art and technology. It was established to create a new pathway for the cultural and creative sector, which has been systematically underserved by governments, institutions, private investors, and companies.

ArtTech is dedicated to exploring these questions through rigorous research and by testing innovative solutions with promising entrepreneurs. By breaking down barriers between museum curators and start-ups, artists and academics, creatives and corporates, ArtTech fosters collaboration that helps the arts and culture adapt and thrive in the digital age.

Our partnership with the ArtTech Foundation aligns perfectly with our commitment to leveraging technology to enhance cultural experiences. This collaboration will enable us to create cross-sectoral synergies, tapping into a vast network of resources, expertise, and cutting-edge technologies, further strengthening our impact on the cultural and media landscape.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to Marc Spiegler for guiding us in this direction.

Reset Network: Championing Independent Culture in Europe

The Reset Network is a collective of independent cultural structures and media that seeks to address the pressing issues facing Europe today. As the continent grapples with the resurgence of war, the rise of authoritarian forces, and increasing censorship, independent media and cultural players are under unprecedented threats. These include economic pressures, repression, and the risk of disappearance due to sector concentration.

Despite these difficulties, we believe that independent cultural organizations are particularly well placed to weather these stormy times. By developing new approaches and narratives, we seek to offset the negative forces at play and contribute to a fair and democratic European cultural landscape. We place great emphasis on key issues, including ecological sustainability, equality, inclusion, technological decentralization, labor rights, and territorial reconnection.

As a member of Reset!, and the first Swiss member to join, we are proud to be part of a dedicated group of individuals and organizations committed to resisting the commodification of creativity and the monopolization of cultural sectors. Our shared goal is to ensure the survival of independent culture, artistic diversity, and freedom of expression. Together, we strive to create an ecosystem that nurtures creativity and fosters engaged, socially aware communities across Europe and beyond.
