Nora Naji is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the Graduate School of Social Sciences of the University of Basel. She holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Geneva and an MA in Culture and Politics from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Before joining the Gender, War and Security Research Group, she was a Junior Project Manager at swissnex San Francisco. She also gained professional experience in the human and social sciences at UNESCO in Paris and at a human rights organization in Amman. Her research interests include peacebuilding and human security, gender and postcolonial feminism, and humanitarian innovation and design.
